Apple II convention, Melbourne Australia

17-19 April 2015

Release your inner retro geek.

In 2009, some Australian Apple II enthusiasts gathered in Wollongong for Mt Keira Fest to coincide with Kansasfest.

In 2013, we gathered in Brisbane for Kurilpa-Fest, again to coincide with Kansasfest.

It is time for another gathering. In keeping with the K theme, a location has been found in Melbourne: a venue in Keysborough. It is situated about 25km from the Melbourne CBD.

The goal of the event is to provide a user group style environment to exchange ideas and discuss new developments in retro computing hardware, software, preservation, emulation and other related topics.

Australian regulars to the Downunder Chat have compared their diaries and settled on the weekend of 17-19th April 2015.

See what is planned for the weekend and the session topics that are confirmed. While many presenters have an Apple II interest and background, we welcome participation from anyone and session proposals about any retro computing topic.
